Who We Are

Our Story

Nashville Bird Control was founded in 1999 by a licensed pest control technician who kept seeing the same problem: homeowners and business owners paying for generic pest treatments that never solved their bird problems. Pigeons came back. Starlings re-nested in the same dryer vents. Sparrows rebuilt in the same roof eaves every spring.

The solution wasn't more chemicals or more traps — it was exclusion. Physically sealing off every surface birds could access, using materials built to last. We built our entire business around that principle, and it's why our customers in Nashville, Franklin, Brentwood, and across Middle Tennessee call us back when they have a new property — not because the old one failed.

Over 25 years we've expanded from residential nest removal to full commercial exclusion programs for warehouses, government facilities, military installations, and airport-adjacent properties near BNA. The work is more complex. The scale is larger. But the approach is the same: assess the property, identify every access point, and install a permanent solution that works.

Why We Know Nashville Birds

25 Years Learning Every Corner of Middle Tennessee.

Bird control isn't generic. The species, the building types, the seasonal patterns, the neighborhoods — they're all specific to this region. We've spent 25 years working exclusively in Middle Tennessee, and that local depth is why our exclusion programs work when generic pest companies fail.

1

We Know Nashville's Bird Species

Middle Tennessee hosts a distinct mix of pest bird species — European Starlings nesting in the older brick buildings of East Nashville and Germantown, House Sparrows colonizing the strip mall signage along Nolensville Pike, Rock Pigeons roosting on the parking structures downtown, and Canada Geese taking over corporate campuses in Brentwood and Cool Springs. Each species behaves differently and requires a different exclusion approach. We've worked with all of them.

2

We Know Nashville's Building Stock

Nashville's building inventory spans 19th-century brick warehouses in the Gulch, mid-century commercial strips in Antioch, modern tilt-wall distribution centers near BNA, historic homes in 12 South and Sylvan Park, and everything in between. Each building type presents different access points, different materials, and different installation challenges. Our technicians have worked on all of them — and know exactly what each one requires.

3

We Know Nashville's Seasons

Bird behavior in Middle Tennessee follows predictable seasonal patterns. Starlings and sparrows begin scouting nest sites in late February and are actively nesting by March. Pigeon populations peak in summer when food sources are abundant. Swallows arrive in spring and target open eaves and bridge structures near the Cumberland River. Knowing when birds are most active — and most vulnerable to exclusion — lets us time our work for maximum effectiveness.

4

We Know Nashville's Commercial Landscape

The Nashville metro's industrial corridor, the warehouses and distribution centers clustered around BNA and along I-24 and I-65, the Fort Campbell military installation to the northwest, the growing corporate campus developments in Williamson County — we've worked in all of these environments. Commercial bird control at this scale requires knowledge of building codes, OSHA compliance, and operational constraints that only come from years of on-the-ground experience in this specific market.

That's the difference between a national pest company dispatching a technician with a generic treatment plan and a team that has spent 25 years learning exactly how birds behave on Nashville properties — and exactly how to stop them.

Middle Tennessee's Bird Control Authority

Every Avian Issue in Middle Tennessee — One Expert Team.

From a single sparrow nest in a Brentwood dryer vent to a multi-building pigeon infestation at a Nashville warehouse, no bird problem in Middle Tennessee is outside our scope. We are the region's only dedicated bird exclusion specialists — not a general pest company that handles birds on the side.

Pigeons

Nashville's most destructive urban bird. We eliminate roost sites on commercial buildings, parking structures, and residential rooftops across Davidson County.

Starlings

Aggressive nesters that colonize dryer vents, exhaust vents, and roof eaves throughout Middle Tennessee neighborhoods.

House Sparrows

Small but prolific — sparrows nest in signage, HVAC equipment, and building cavities from Franklin to Hendersonville.

Woodpeckers

Cause significant structural damage to Nashville-area homes and commercial buildings. Deterrent and exclusion programs available.

Swallows

Mud nesters that target eaves, bridges, and open structures across Middle Tennessee — including properties near the Cumberland River corridor.

Geese & Waterfowl

A growing nuisance at Nashville-area corporate campuses, parks, and properties near lakes and retention ponds.

Vultures

Increasingly common on Middle Tennessee rooftops and communication towers — causing membrane damage and creating health hazards.

Crows & Blackbirds

Large flocking species that roost in Nashville's urban tree canopy and create noise, droppings, and property damage at scale.

If it's a bird and it's causing a problem on your Middle Tennessee property, we have a solution. Our technicians have handled every species, every building type, and every infestation scenario the region produces.
